Default Hi from another new owner!

Hey all,

I have always loved this platform but never had the means to pick one up until recently. My last drive in one was a SSB coupe automatic 4 years ago and was sold from the get-go. Just got my hands on a sweet deal, a 2005 SSB Limited Coupe with 12K miles. I get to pick her up on wednesday I come from the SRT-4 world and am a responsible member of SRTForums.com. Glad to be here and I am going to be soaking up all the info I can!

Matt

Congradulations! The more you drive it the better you'll like it. Don't be put off by the little things that might go wrong with these cars, most can be ironed out easily with the advice and information that can be had here on this forum.

The only fixes needed so far are headlight restoration and the removal of two door dings. Other than that she purrs

I've had mine for just over a month, so I'm kind of a newbie too. Welcome to one of the best forums on the web. Great, knowledgeable folks here. TONS of info.

Unfortunately for the NSRT world, there are a lot of 4th, 5th and 6th generation owners now that are clogging the forum with worthless unsearched queries and questionable intentions for their newfound cheap horsepower. It's refreshing to say the least to find a more grown-up vibe with the XF community. I think I will fit right in here.

Mods on my plate for now will be clear headlight lenses, those door dings removed, and CAI. I intend on keeping the car as stock as possible and just enjoy it for what it is. The Neon will go under the knife for its second rebuild and either stay as my weekend tire shredder or go to a good home.

Pictures to come this weekend!

Matt

Meet Lorelei Today I replaced the cupholder, removed the front tint, and got her inspected (she passed with flying colors). The headlights are clear as day now, too. More pictures to come this weekend after she is properly cleaned.
