Default Engine Cover

Has anyone painted or otherwise modified their engine cover? The orginal concept one looks great as well as the "Startech" one.

I did mine red with silver lettering, emblem and those grooves.

The red looks a bit off in the pics, that's just because the intake is shinier and cleaner than the engine bay.
I still need to do the details on the emblem.

REDCROSS painted his red to match the car, and had the Chrysler logo on it hand painted to match the front and rear emblems. It looks nice, check any of his posts.

Me, I think all I'm gonna do is paint the raised letters black.

Just had mine painted to match body color but kept the logo and raised area (scoop) the original color. I tried posting pictures last night but for some reason was unable to do so....Same Body Shop REDCROSS used.

Hey there,
I painted mine 1000 times. I still never landed on something that I liked. Now I pulled the air cover, because I'm running Dual cool air intakes. I'm still working on a cool cover. If you want to see the paint job though, look at my album. If you want it painted I can do it for you. I can do what ever you want. Check out my lower scoop-vents.

I know it's sorta off-topic in this thread, but I still don't see how you think that setup is drawing cooler air than the stock setup that draws directly through the front. No matter how much the fan spins, looking at the geometry in comparison to what I see in my stock Crossfire your two filters don't look to be in the direct path of the fan, which to me would mean you're drawing warmer engine compartment air than the stock setup. :?: :?: :?: Do you have before/after timings or dynos?
