Default Transmission Control Module - Problems?

Hi All

I am having a issue with my transmission. It started as a leak and my mechanic said it was the pan gasket even though I told them about the leaking connector issue, so they changed the gasket and installed new filter and fulid so now the car runs fine but still has a leak, so I bring it back and they checked the transmission connector and the o rings are bad so they changed out the connect. so now there is no leaks but I have an issue with the transmission around 20-30mph it shutters / lags seems like your driving a manual shift and you shifted to soon only happens after the car has warmed up it wont happen when I take it for the first drive in the morning. So I have been searching and it seems it may be the TCM any suggestions? anyone have one to sell? this is driving me crazy.
Thanks in advance.

Tony

Well let me offer my 2 cents here as this issue happened to me. I never had any of the leaking like you did but the transmission would jolt pretty heftily and make a terrible noise at certain RPMs and the not happening when it was cold was the same as well. So I took it in to a local Chrysler dealer and they ended up replacing the TCM which was like a $900 job. He told me that the part needs programmed with the specific cars vin so I don't know if a used one will work but he could have been wrong. The most frustrating thing about the whole ordeal is the fact that he claimed this was the first time in 9 years (I have an '04) that he has ever seen this happen on the Crossfires. But I can say now that after everything the new TCM seems to have fixed it and I'm back in business!
