Car production for any model year generally goes fall to fall. A 2004 model year car would be produced from about August 2003 to August 2004.

But Crossfires generally didn't follow the generally rule.... My 2005 Roadster was built in February 18th 2004 and the next car after mine was a 2004 coupe!

As I said, generally fall to fall is the model year production run. There are exceptions as noted above. By generally I mean 98% of all cars made in the past 30 years. Reliableron, your car IS a 2004 model year. And yes I've read the posts about Crossfire serial #s and such.

I agree that you are correct for most cars but as I said Crossfires didn't do generally. My car is a model year 2005 crossfire roadster serial # 5x024111 the 5 stands for 2005, they did not make 2004 roadsters, but did make 2004 coupes after mine was built.
