2004 they were all the same and were all just Crossfires
2005 - 2008 there were "base" models and "limited" models - (LTD) abbreviation for Limited
"Limited" models have more features.

A limited has a few more options available: garage door opener, leather seats, tire pressure sensor, 240 watt sound system, satin door handles, fog lights, heated seats. The SRT6 has a few more on top of that. I've only had ours a couple of months and still discover new features all the time. It's a great little car - a little quirky sometimes. If you do your own service this site is invaluable. Good luck...Cam
Thanks, I am (obviously) new to the Crossfire and didn't know that! Don't imagine there were that many extras between base and ltd models though?
I didn't think so, but not entirely certain. It IS a Chrysler but Chrysler merged with Mercedes...so was it built in Germany? Must be hot on the autobahn

Are there shop manuals available for the Crossfire? Where would I get one? TY!
Yes, it does have those features. I had an RX7 and it was sure quirky. And expensive. What quirks are you talking about? I can do basic things like check the oil, fluids, but since I'm a female I can't do the heavy stuff. Got to find a good mechanic in the Campbell River, Courtenay area on Vancouver Island.

Common problems and the cure for them can be found here (CLICK).
The cars were made in Germany and have little if any US made parts on them. Most of the engine, suspension, transmission and assorted other parts are identical to the Mercedes SLK320 or SLK32.
The car is basically a Mercedes SLK320 or SLK32 with a US designed body on it. When ever possible buy the Mercedes part, you will get the same part from Chrysler but pay a large premium for the Chrysler label stuck over the top of the Mercedes label. Most parts have the Mercedes part number on them.
The quirkiest thing about these cars are the owners.
