Default New guy here.....

Hi guys...ive been folowing this forum since it began and been reading up on the X Fire and pros v cons.

I am in Melbourne, Australia and as u know we hav'em here too; although they arent exactly thick on the ground !!

I have always been a Mopar man and still have my Charger; I have always liked the X Fire since it was lauched O/S - and have been waiting for the day when I can get my hands on one.

So yesterday I managed to scam a Blaze Red 6 spd for an afternoon....and had an absolute blast cruising around on a beautiful day in Melbourne!!

So now Ive placed my order for a brand new one - with a med grey/dark grey interior; similar ride and same spex to the one I test drove. I should have it in 7-10 days or so.

Anyway....my list of mods will be limited ie: lowering, tinted glass and maybe a Sat Nav/DVD head unit later on.

Can anyone tell me :

i. How low can I go....? I think about 45-60mm will give it the look im
after? Any tips/pix? Ive seen some lowered rides on here, but dont
know whaich springs were used, nor how many mm's they have been
lowered??
ii. Also, what brand of springs ? Eibach ? Others ? Prefer to source
them out of So Cal too...!!

Any tips, info, advice woulld be great!!

Thanx !!

Congrats on the new ride.

Hey! Welcome to you. We have seen a few other Aussies on the forum. I am surprised one of them didn't give you a holler.

We do not lower cars here in Chicago. The pot holes would eat you alive.

Congratulations and welcome XFYRED. I've been busy enjoying my own new ride. It's a fun car and a real head turner, more so than I expected.
Enjoy,

Hi XFYRED,

Congrats! It is definitely a cool ride.

I'm in NSW and I bought one about a month ago and I'm curious as to the deal you got and which dealership you bought from.
