Default '05 SLK door mirrors w/blinker and our XFire

Does anyone know if the new door mirrors of the SLK350 (w/the blinker signal) fit our Xfires???

You'd think we would have had a couple more (luxury) features with our cars, simple things, like memory seats, radio steering wheel controls, one touch power up windows and such. I think those mirrors would like sharp on our cars, just a thought.

You're right, the fuel! Or Automatic headlamps, rain sense wipers or the side mirrors that dull the bright headlights behind you at night!

We have speed sensitive wipers at least : -) But for a 38K car, we should have got a little more, but that's just me.

Are you refering to the fact that you don't have a roof?

Coupe Manual = 3061
Coupe Auto = 3084
Roadster Manual = 3140
Roadster Auto = 3174 lbs

No Roof = ~90 lbs fatter!

Haha, nah.
I guess yours is faster then. I was counting on the driver weight being the difference, but since you have the lightest car, and I have the heaviest one, mines the slug!!

That's not to bad, if it were any lighter, it would like driving an RSX and i'll tell you, the wind does a # on that little tin can when it's on th highway. Our cars are stocky, we wouldn't to be swaying in the wind while doing 90+ would we??

our side exterior mirrors do dim at night...just like the rear view mirror does on an 04' crossfire.

i can't believe the self dimming interior rear view mirror is no longer available for 05' crossfires.

The mirrors are heated but I do not believe they dim.

The inside rear view mirror is the only one that automatically dims......
THAT'S ONLY on the 2004, the 2005 is the OLD "Flip-A-Tab" type from the 50's.

All of the 05's have flip-a-tab interior mirrors, or is that just the base model?

Question Re: '05 SLK door mirrors w/blinker and our XFire

It would be interested to know why they went back to the old style dimmer tab.

Anyone find the auto dim not working the way it should. I think mine is ok.
