2004 Limited Coupe
I have stumbled onto what MAY be a fantastic deal on a one owner, 2004 Limited Coupe with only 22K original miles. It looks and seems to perform as new. My question is that given that 2004 was the first year of the Crossfire, are there any weaknesses in the car that were improved in later models, and is there any styling differences between this car and the subsequent years of the Crossfire? What about fearures like the audio system, etc? Any thoughts?

The 04 was the first year. A few differences here and their. Not in body styling, only in a few features. The 04 actually had a auto dimming mirror. Newer ones didn't. I think Knee protection in newer models were a little different. LED radios were in the oldest 04's and were hard to see in daylight. LCD's went into later ones. I changed my LED out with a Factory LCD. Much improved.
I'm not sure how much they did in changing out or updating / upgrading parts from year to year. The tranny connector / seals may have been upgraded (common issue in the Crossfire - at least in the earlier models. The CPS issue ........not sure if they upgraded or not. Pretty sure it happens in almost any model year Crossfire.
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. Car by car / case by case even in the case of the common issues.
Fun cars. Love mine.

From '03 into about summer of '04 there were a handful of TSB's that came out. Most were of the ticky-tacky variety. The radio was mentioned (got a new one for free). Some window switches were mounted upside down. Some windows leaked. Some stick shifters needed an adjustment. The cup holder sucked. Just crap like that. Since TSB's are fixed for free, I would assume that these things were dealt with long ago. Follow on changes were mostly cosmetic in nature and would take a real expert to spot. I've sat in '07s and it felt the same to me.
