Default Not too many Bright Silver XF's

Gee, after having mine for six years, I still haven't seen another Bright Silver Crossfire. Was 08 the only year for this color? The silver is almost a dead match with the window trim and door handles.

There were some colors that were only produced one or two years...

I think 07 was the first year for that color. I've only seen 2.

In pictures it always looks a bit like SSB, I gotta try some night photos so it won't pick up the blue from the sky.

I believe there is a breakdown of cars manufactured by color... Am I wrong?

Yes, but cars of all colors breakdown.

Wilma...

Don't try to wash a bright silver XF on a sunny day unless you have good sunglasses on!

We saw a Sliver roadster with a Cedar/Slate interior at a car show in Albion PA last Sunday. Looked very nice.
I can't say for sure if I've ever seen a Silver coupe up close and personal.
Is there a thread that documents all the colors offered by year?
I'm not sure, but didn't Silver replace Alabaster in 07?

That's funny stuff! Do you stay up late thinking this stuff up? There is a color called Iridium Silver listed for the CF, paint code 775 at Auto touchup and while close to the trim and door handles that would not be the same. The trim and strakes etc. is PS2 Chrysler silver, correct me if I'm wrong.

One of the Chrysler sales execs at Woodward Dream Cruise has a 2007 roadster in silver. I chatted with him about buying it (4-5 years ago) when he had to turn it in. I saw him two years ago and he had retired and kept the XF. Both good moves.

Goldwing - Unfortunately, you are correct in that I think those were the only two good moves I ever made....Ha!
Hope to see you at this year's Dream Cruise

Old thread revival! Is that PS2 silver the same on the wheels and wheel covers?

I can't attest to that as one of the first things I did was replace the wheels. I would not be surprised though, if it was.

**XZA — Crossfire Satin Silver 05179660AB for the wheels.
According to this chart, see bottom of page for 2006 exterior passenger car colors.
