I just got my windshield replaced. I noticed at the bottom of the windshield on the outside that if you look down you can see where the glass ends. I was wondering if this is normal? Like, the plastic piece that typically covers the window there, there's a little gap between.

I got a PGW replacement windshield.

Can someone take a pic of their windshield bottom area for me? Much appreciated.

Oh BTW, I have 2004 Crossfire Coupe, not the convertible.

No gap, get it fixed.

 

Ok so the window goes down below that piece....it's just that the rubber/plastic piece doesn't "butt up" against the window. Thoughts?

You are still full of crap....by!....... someone get hurt.... If that were the case, we would have crashed many times over....get over yourself already.... Discount Tire is just as highly rated as Tire Rack, and just mounted the Mercedes wheels and tires and used the tires ratings as they aren't specific to E Class car..... Several others run same pressure on theirs and haven't crashed.While attending Tire Racks sponsored event in South Bend Indiana ...people aren't running rated tires pressures while competing in Tire Racks sponsored programs....funny how that works.... I resisted posting anything, but I truly am upset that a couple of well respected and very knowledgeable people, have bruised each other with comments that were best swallowed and forgotten. It is very easy to vent about an issue when we sit by a puter, but in most cases, there is no winner. When the back and forth is more or less "public", people just get a bed taste in their mouth about our community. Most of us have developed friendships and acquaintances in our Crossfire world, and maybe meet up with each other once or twice a year. People it's not worth it. If 2 or more people have what they believe are valid points, just state them and move on. The suggestion of "No comment" is the best one yet. Just sayin ......

The photo of your windshield isn't normal. I don't know what's wrong but call and have them fix it. It's not just funny, it's wrong.
