Well I know you got it from eBay some time ago for about £200-£250 ish so how much you asking for?

 

Former NXMX5:- C20 SSF - looks like CROSSF.

saldous:- I paid substantially more than £250 for it. I require £1k for it.

 

You would need 'C120 SSF' for it to really look like CROSS F.

If you haven't debadged, it says CROSSFIRE just above the number/licence plate.

Would be interested in '1 AN' or '7 AN' if you have them.

'1 AN' would cost you thousands though!

 

Just curious, how does registration tags work over there. That seems insanly expensive 1k in pounds. 2 thousand bucks is not chump change. vanity plates go for 170 in IL. Just curious why they are so expensive and there seems to be a market for them.

 

I had the chance to buy '7 AN' for £9,000 in 1998 or 1999 and didn't bother cos my cars at the time were old. I think it would look nice on the XF, but I can't trace who owns it. I doubt I could afford '1 AN' if it ever became available.

The DVLA who control license plate issue hold back all the good numbers and sell them starting at £250 so they start the market and set the value, there is a limited supply of plates in any given 6 month period and so the best ones demand a market value.
