Default look and unlock the doors

Hi Guys,
I'm from Germany and my name is Steffen. I have my car two days now and I'm very happy. My question is now if you unlock the car is then only one door unlocked or all doors. Also do you have any beep sound if you lock or unlock the car?
Thanks for your information's.
Steffen

If you unlock the doors using your remote, by pressing ONCE, only the drivers door will unlock.
If you press a second time, both doors and the liftgate should unlock.

There is no beep sound when you lock or unlock the doors, only the lights signal.

Well on mine if you press it once it unlocks all the doors. I guess it's a Euro thing as we don't have the panic button.

Mine is a German car and I have to push twice to open all doors. What is the difference between our cars?

Maybe it has something to do with right and left drives. Steffen, does yours have a red panic button on it?
Have you heard the alarm on the xf yet? Mine went off accidentally when I was testing to see what locked when the top was down and it was in the garage. I thought I was going to go deaf! I never heard anything so loud and shrill!

This is exactly how my '05 coupe operates and yes when the alarm went off accidentally in the garage I thought that I was going to go deaf.

That's for hearing impaired drivers.
