Default problem with radio

Radio is on and the radio stations are in perfect quality. I switch on the rear window defroster and then the radio stations quality is bad. If I switch off the rear window defroster then the radio staions are in perfect quality. Has anybody the same problem?
Thanks
Steffen

Wow, I've never checked but since the antenna is in the back window I wouldn't be surprised... It will be interesting to see other responses.

I checked last night and my radio reception is not affected by the defroster.

Steffen,

Looks like it might be an indication of something wrong. Perhaps a defective rear window antenna or possibly something wrong with the defroster. Hopefully the dealer can help. Do let us know if they or you discover the root cause of the problem.

You get a different antenna with the NAV system so it can recieve info from the Satelite. Another reason to get the NAV system. Plus I think it is a better radio to begin with.
