hey thats great we can probably schedule something somewhere interesting but it will probably be a drive for both of us but that is the fun part there is a guy here in EL Paso that has a crossfire also he might be interested but i havnt seen him here lately. So i guess there is alot of red ones out? Yea i havnt seen any except the one i drive. None on the lot or anything! That is why I probably get so many remarks. I hope to move to east TX here soon. Pref. Austin TX.

hey let me know about all of your porformance mods too cyril how much did the K&N add and how much did your chip cost and where did you get it and also info on the exhaust

The chip I had it with Upsolute in Dallas and I had my muffler replaced with Magnaflow Part # 14220. Try the Magnaflow first then chip your ECU.....it'll make you fall in love with your Crossfire!

I'm working on getting my XFIREX lowered with Eibach Springs, brake rotors, wheel spacers and possible new 19" front and 20" rear wheels ( still trying to decide...I kinda love the stock wheels ). I found a TireRack store in Shreveport which is around 100 miles away from Tyler. That's where I'm gonna get my stuff before we can hook up....it'll be great!

 

There's another guy here...I think he is an Optometrist and this afternoon I passed by his clinic and saw him getting into his black CF so, I made a U-turn with a hope that maybe I can hook up with him ( thinking it'll be cool to see 2 Crossfires on the road also ) but he just vanished! Must have used his cloaking device too early....

I've been stalking this guy and I know now when he's gonna use his black CF.....he is like me....drive it only when the forcast is sunny! I think he also uses Zaino Bro's when waxing his car... :-)

 

so upsolute is in Dallas where you can buy and get installed that woud be great and why do you say get exhasut then chip is it because it makes the most difference. If so I can see what you are saying. So did you get a cat back or just a muffler? On your opinion do you think it is better to get the borla cat back or just the muffler? I peered under my car and noticed the stock exhaust looked mandrel bent with NO KINKS!! if so that is all we need no need for the cat back maybe just some free flow cats. I like to see the opinions of other Xfire owners. Also did the Magnaflow make the exhaust realy loud or just a nice hum until you step on it? Sometimes they sound like a pissed off misquito. I have owned a Grand National 89 with 50k orig miles on the whole car never recked and it sounded good and it was a 6 cyl. and didnt sound like a pissed off misquito.

 

I dunno about 'em but my muffler shop here was even surprised that it didn't sound like a bumble bee at all and was happy of the turn out because they tried to discourage me about replacing it at first. I love the sound of it that I let my boss drive it at lunch break most of the time just to let me hear how it sounds outside and it's just greaaaaatttt! No mosquito sound bytes at all!

If you'll gonna have Borla...keep your stock because Borla is still restricted in airflow with the same loop design from the stock.
