Default Back from the dead.

After my poor (and apparently somewhat unusual) 6MT 2006 Graphite Metallic coupe had a bad deer experience I have acquired a 6MT 2005 Aero Blue (with less miles) and am working to bring it back up to satisfactory appearance and working order.

I just couldn't leave the Crossfire life behind!

It's amazing, and sad, what people can do to ignore the care of the 2nd most expensive item they own, ain't it?

The new-to-me GTI I just bought, 2015 model, 16K on it, looked 4 years old and 3X the miles when I bought it! "Certified Pre-Owned" from a VW dealer.

I don't think their detailer is working there any longer....

I must be doing something wrong Max. My house cost more than my Crossfire. AND my wife cost more than that. Placing third, the boat is a big hole in the water and after that, assuming anything is left over, comes my Crossie.

That said, my Crossfire is kept better for it's age than any of the other stuff. But don't tell Crumpy.
