Hey guys, I’m repainting my dash and trying to remove the dash piece under the steering well and I can’t seem to get the OBD socket free, I have attached a picture; can anyone give me a clear way to remove the socket so I don’t break it. Also I have attached a picture of a free cable underneath the hood, behind the airflow part of the Engine cover. I don’t see anything that has an opening to plug it in and they are no free sockets anywhere, can someone help.
Can’t remove OBD Socket from housing. Not sure where this plug goes.

Looks like the siren cable connector from under the cowling. Does your siren work when the alarm is triggered? Good luck finding the answers to your other Q's!
Oh really? No the siren has never worked, where exactly is the siren, under the cowling? Also I figured out how to get OBD off, the top part slides to the right.

The siren is located under the cowl centered. Careful for the wires and hose for the WW warmer and hose for the WW fluid. There should be a .pdf to help remove it here somewhere. Good luck!
Ok I’ll look, I think the previous owner disconnected, I do believe my alarm doesn’t go off at random times without Force or someone touching the car. I’m not certain of that but I am going to try to reconnect and see if the siren actually works.
