How has Chrysler taken care of the popping out of 1st gear problem?

 

Yes, it's a known problem with some of the vehicles built prior to Dec 2003. When the problem first began to surface the fix was to swap out the transmission. DC has since issued a TSB which addresses the issue by fixing the first gear syncros.

 

i have a problem with first gear. its hard to get into at a complete stop. the dealer says its my clutch and i've lost alot of horsepower too. email me.
