Default I need help choosing manual transmission fluid

Yo,
been trolling through the posts, cant make sense of which fluid to replace mine with. 102k on the tranny, 1st and 2nd is a hard shift. Leveled the car, tranny is pretty dry. Read something about synthetic motor oil? Can anyone reply with a link to some good options.

My other car is an older Miata and it's 5speed was trashed by the previous owner I tried 5 different fluids all synthetic and the best was redline MTL. It's thin but worked the best. My CF is an auto just thought I'd chime in.

I tried a lot of trans fluids and got the best result with factory MB gear oil from Needswings.

Thanks y'all!!! I'm hoping it's just a dry issue since i only started noticing hard shifts a few months ago. I never noticed the 1-2 hard shifts before like everyone talks about with our transmission. Knowing my luck though that's probably it :'D

Royal Purple Gear Oil 75/90 WT. expensive but works great in manual transmissions and rear diffs.

.

Start with the Owners Manual recommendations, then cross reference with the specifications, then get whatever you want after seeing that information. The 'minimum' is a 'baseline'. Your choice after that will be based of who and what convinces you on what to install in it. Good luck!
