So I've been looking for a while for a set of protective rubber floor mats and finally found some that are sold in a set of 2 (instead of 4 as no rears are needed) and can be custom trimmed as you see fit. I have to say these are some really nice thick rubber mats that are still very soft and flexible. I ended up trimming very little from them because I like the way they are pliable enough to run up the sides of the foot wells a bit for added protection (very easy to cut with a common pair of scissors). I was considering trimming them by taking the existing stock mats out and laying them on top to know where to cut but I'm glad I didn't and instead placed them in the wells on top of the OEM mats and moved them around and then decided what I wanted to trim away. So they are in now and I keep them right on top of the OEM mats. They can't move or slide around because they have rubber dimples on their underside that keeps them in place. Here are the pics.... For $36 they can't be beat and for those who want to cut more away than I did for an even more custom fit that doesn't run up the sides of the footwells you certainly can do that. Definitely one of my best purchases from Amazon as I was shocked at the quality of these for the price when I opened the box and felt the weight of them. These were shipped flat (not rolled) and they are heavy duty. The first pic is before I did any trimming to them other than cutting off the tops where they were permanently fastened together to be sold as a set. If you aren't as impressed as I was when you open the box, you can always return them for free.

Those work nicely. I have an oem set of rubber mats that came with my son's XF, XF since sold. I have no use for them but not interested in selling. Just like the three sets of XF luggage I picked up about 10 years ago.
Since winter is here I figured I'd post an update. Despite cold temps in VA Beach (down to freezing a few times) these mats continue to hold up and they remain soft and supple in the cold weather. No cracks and I'm really happy I put them in. I'm amazed at how much crap you can bring into a car that vanishes into the OEM fiber mats. With these I can see it all and just shake them out from time to time while it is cold as I'm not dragging out the hose in the cold to wash them down.

Looks nice. This is the closest thing I found to what you had listed, since you didn't include a direct link.
I bought a set of rubber mats from Exactmats.com a few years back. Well made & an exact fit. My set is black; website shows clear available. Somewhat pricier than those on Amazon referenced in this thread.
