Hi!

Just wondering if we have any tech pros amongst us. What can Torque Pro monitor for (i.e. IATs, Boost) that would be helpful especially in the tuning realm but also just for fun (miles per gallon etc).
Are there better apps out there?

Is there apps that can measure the 0-60 time or quarter mile times accurately? Dragy comes to mind. To all of our folks who like to play around with these things what do you use them for and what can you measure?

I guess there isn’t a lot of folks on here using these kinds of apps. I played around a little but I am sure there are way more useful applications to apply like Torque Pro and maybe there is even better ones out there. The app wont replace a wideband installed in the car that can monitor a lot more information that’s valuable to data logging but I was hoping to hear from some members who have used Torque or other apps, what they use it for and how they set up the app for success.

 

I have used Torque Free in the past to monitor performance. I just recently got my crossfire and still mired in basic maintenance items that need to be done before I really dig into torque and what can be done. There is a list of codes that has been documented on CAN bus hacking.

I know torque has option for putting in custom codes. I have not done it myself. It's something I will be trying in the future.
