Default fuel injector cleaner

Who puts fuel injector carburetor cleaner in there crossfire every other tank like the bottle says? Do you actually get improved performance from this stuff?

Not me. Probably won't improve your performance if you are using fuels with adequate levels of additives that should prevent deposits from forming. Just make sure you change the fuel filter at least as frequently as stated in the manual.

I have been using Chevron Techron injector cleaner in my fuel injected cars for about 7 year now. One bottle every other month on a half tank of fuel and then run it down to about 1/8th. Got this advice from my Lexus mechanic for my former SC400 (now my son's car). I use it on the Crossfire as well.

I like the Valvoline "once a year" treatment as I've used it for years w/o a problem. I also change my fuel filter every 25K too, so that probably helps as well.
