Question Neon threshold plates

I installed the optional neon threshold plates on my 2004 Crossfire. They look really cool but they only stay on a few seconds. They seem to be temperature sensitive. They stay on longer in the winter than in the summer. Has anyone else installed these and what results did you have?

maybe you're using the wrong adhesive? either that or the surface is dirty and won't adhere.

It isn't that it won't stick to the surface, it is that the light won't stay on as long as the interior light is on and it is wired to the same circuit by the instructions. I'm thinking of trying to wire it to another circuit but the wiring is hard to get at.

i think you have the wrong wires tapped. i also think you should revisit your wiring. if it still doesn't work, take it back to the dealer, mopar 12 month/12K warranty.

Oh. i thought you installed door sills from a Neon, not illuminated door sills. sorry about that. i agree; check your wiring --
