Headlight question - after TSB
Headlight question - after TSB
Okay, I to my crossfire in for the Headlights looking like they had condensation in them. I picked it up 2 days later and the headlights look a little better, but they still have a spotty haze inside of them. They don't have the clean, clear look like on my Magnum. Does the dealership just clean the headlights or do they replace the outer casings completely? I'm not at all satisfied with the look of them. I have to take the Crossfire back, one a sensor comes in, so I'm trying to research before I take it back.

Have you tried the 3M Plastic cleaner? It did the trick for mine. The haze is not condensation but something on the plastic. I'll post 3M's web address when I get home for you. Cost me 8 bucks, got here in three days. Saves what you just went through with the dealer. Mine have been clean and haze free for month now.

Re: Headlight question - after TSB
Dave - Go to www.3m.com/us/auto_marine_aero/aad/
The product number is 39017.
Comes in 8 oz bottles that should cost about 8$ delivered from 3M.
You might be able to find it at an auto or boat store but I hate shopping so the web was the easiest way to go.
Hope this helps you.
