local dealer tells me holding lots in US and in Germany are filled with 05 XF's. If these run out by April of next year then maybe a limited run of 06's will be produced. Then car is dropped.

Anyone have other info?

 

DC has a "five" year contract with Karmann to build the Crossfire. That would take the car out to a 2008 model.

 

there's already been announcements of new colors for '06 in another thread (search). so i was pretty sure an '06 model existed and was being produced.

 

Well since there is almost a year supply sitting around, might as well wait and see! The dealer here still has new 04's!!!

 

There are 06' VIN's all the way up to 65,000 in the Chrysler recall system. I would take that as a pretty good indication that there will be 06's.

 

There are 2006 model year cars, including a gorgeous new special edition of the Crossfire Roadster. Dan, any clue how much those "new" 2004 cars are going for, at the dealer near your home? I'm curious how much they would be willing to deal on those.

 

I am waiting for the '06 to see if it has an integrated Sirius system.

 

I was just on DC's tech authority web site and they show a 2006 Crossfire owners manual.

 

You can change the headunit with a Sirius ready model for under $300 for a nice one.
I have a clarion that plays mp3, Sirius, and ipod controller.

I painted the surround bezel silver to match, $3 can of spray paint. The display can be turned green to match the lamps perfectly.
