Default My Car is in the Shop

Ok I think I have a tranny problem. I pulled up to a stop light and put it in neutral and when I let out my clutch the idler gear was making alot of noise. I heard it over my radio that was turned up to 25 and I could feel it in the clutch pedal and the stick. Has anyone had this problem? I was one block away from the dealer so I took it there and they won't be able to look at it until Friday so I'll keep you posted.

Hope like heck it doesn't need any parts... it takes a LONG time to get anything...

I love that FRAPPR thing... that's cool.

Well it looks like this is one of those hit or miss problems because it isn't doing it any more. I hope it never does it again too. I'm hoping its not one of those problems that come and go. I'll post up if it happens again or if I find out what it was. I'm going on a road trip next week so if it does it again it should be then.

Keep us posted... I had, what I think was the throw-out bearing making noise on me during one track event a few months ago. I was sitting in the pre-grid area with concrete walls on either side of me and could hear every little noise the car was making, bouncing off the walls... I distinctly heard the throw-out bearing rattling everytime I depressed the clutch and could feel the vibration in the stick...

It mysteriously disappeared after that...
