Default wiper blade inserts

you cannot buy just the rubber inserts from chrysler...you must purchase the entire metal blade assembly. $$$

i went to the local bmw dealer and purchased the universal wiper inserts (cut to fit sizing). this is the way they are sold for all bmws from '04 and older.
they work perfect.

total cost for two inserts... $5.

bmw part number: 10A 61-61-0-154-440 (wiper refill).

BTW - AutoZone is running a special on their Bosch ICON blades (and others). The mail-in rebate is basically by one get one free. I bought a set for the 4Runner last night (already have them on the Crossfire, not that it ever sees rain, but anyway). Not sure when it ends.

We installed the Bosch Icon's on my car, and they make a horrible noise. What did we do wrong? Any suggestions?

Mine work great. No issues. I've had ICONs on three cars now and wouldn't have anything else.
