Default Radio Display Settings

I have noticed several people mention their radio display was set in the Negative Mode (Dark Background/Light Numbers & Letters). This is an adjustable function. The Navigation User's Manual, page 99, under Display Settings will let you set the mode to Positive, Negative and Automatic (controlled by the headlight switch). I have the auto mode set. This gives you the light background/dark numbers during the day and switches to the dark background/light numbers at night when the headlights are turned on.

To select a setting, request the user menu and press the LCD multifunction key to select the negative, positive, or automatic mode.

If this was previously covered, in another thread, please disregard.

Default Re: Radio Display Settings

I have a 2004 and the LCD display cannot be changed. Most of us had a new radio installed under warranty.
