Default Nav voice preference... Man or Woman?

I switched my Nav voice to the UK English version. I love to hear the accent.
Bummer though... I'd prefer a man's voice but it seems there's only the female UK voice available.
Anyone know otherwise?

I'll be picking my baby up on the 14th and will be happy to check then.

I was looking at the us trafficpro site since i don't have any manuals yet. http://www.trafficpro2.com/UG7200USenglishRevA.pdf

If our unit is similar then it seems you would select language, english gb, then either female1 or male1. should then say loading language and then prompt to accept?

Do you get an option for male or female or does it just jump to loading?

If we don't hear from someone else i'll be sure to verify when i get mine. just 8 more long days.

I do select the GB English, then there are icons for either a man's or woman's voice but it won't allow me to switch to the male voice. My guess is that it may not be an option. Thanks for looking into it.

I give up, I can't get anything but the female voice either. Possibly the male voice was only available on the initial units they used and with the replacement/newer version its not. Probably just another case of not updating the manual. I wish we had a programmer that could tweak the units programming for us...

I wish my baby can talk... and I would prefer a woman's voice to keep me company when I'm driving!

The female voice on mine isn't as soothing as you would think. Sometime it is almost like a nagging "turn left here."
