english_bob is back
Finally after 10 weeks of waiting for my belongings to be delivered I am connected again, but I am sorry to say minus Crossfire. Am in the market for an SRT-6 at the moment, but I can see it will take some time to get finance with my Visa status.
I hope everyone has been keeping well and you all had a great Xmas and New Year.
Have only seen 3 XFs in Perth, but the weather and new lifestyle are fantastic. Taking some time getting used to the 100 kph speed limit on the freeway.
Looking forward to catching up on the topics from the last few weeks.
Also if anyone has been fortunate to take ownership of RE04 YCM, please let me know how it goes.
Regards,

Welcome back!
Perth is such a beautiful city. Haven't been there since mid-80's so I'm sure the Perth/Freemantle area has changed considerably. I know you will enjoy it once you find another Xfire.

Thanks guys. I really miss having the XF, but Perth is such a lovely city with a fantastic public transport system that I almost don't need a car.
The local Chrysler dealer has a black SRT-6 on the lot getting older by the day. Have sold my house in the UK and should have the proceeds converted to AUD in a few weeks, so I might make him an offer. The 300Cs are going like hot cakes over here and they are 40,000 AUD cheaper than the SRT-6 (list).
I even have a driving license to drive medium size lorries due to a misread of my UK license by the clerk in the Licensing Centre.
I will be over in Melbourne for a month in April/May and would be happy to meet any XF owners one evening.
