bucking at stop
Car is bucking at a stop sign or red light as if it was going to stall. It does not stall but this is worrisome. I almost think the gas line has a problem, Any thoughts? Car is graphite automatic, not 6 speed as listed.
gsopc, does it feel like you're driving a car with a manual transmission, and you're forgetting to push in the clutch just before coming to a complete stop, is that the sensation that you're describing? If so, maybe your "lock up" torque converter isn't disengaging properly.

'04 black coupe, auto, same exact problem here. It jerks or bucks like it's going to stall but never does. It's annoying and quite frustrating, especially when the light turns green and the car won't go.
Going to the shop this weekend. Dealer said it could be a motor control sensor. ???

Took my car to the dealer and took copies of the forum answers to the mechanic who is a good guy. He called the "source" for questions at Chrysler and they were pissed off about the forum info. Isn't that too bad!
They changed the transmission fluid, put in 4X to the gas line, and ordered a part that is a pressure valve in the engine. The part is on back order as is the TSB part for the fan. Sounds like Mercedes is not on board for the car and this is obviously a big problem. They will call me when all is available. Stay tuned. The source said they have never heard of this problem before. They need to read the Forum!!
