TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR - "HIGH PSI"
qtrfoil...
you are correct the sensors are programmed to the car... any replacements sensors will trigger the dash light (system isn't recognizing it).
unfortunately...a dealer fix only.

If the dealer replaced your tire & valve, they would have recalibrated the tpm. Not sure from your post if that is the case. It is a dealer issue although I have heard some tire chains can do it.
Don't know if this will help but I've put the car in the garage at night and gone out in the morning after a substantial temperature drop and the light comes on. I think it was your low tire too but maybe the air temp caused a drop in tire pressure in that tire that tripped the sensor?
Just a thought.

Hey Guys I am running new tires with rims on my car 20x10 in the rear with 285's and 19x8.5 in the front with 235's. My PSI on each tire is 38 PSI and the light is still on. Do you think a sensor could have been damaged? The guy at the wheel shop said I have to program the sensor to the car. Does that make sense? Could he just use a mercedes OEM sensor?

I have a stock set up, and my pressure light has been on for months. Running the correct pressure and the light wouldn't go out. I took the car in yesterday and they some how reset the sensors?
