Thumbs up Chrysler Accessories

One more thing I thought I'd share this morning... I ordered the floor mats and the cloth/vinyl cargo tote from the accessories catalog and I'm pretty pleased with both.

The floor mats are kind of a slate grey with an embroidered Chrysler logo on the outside edge They add a nice bit of contrast to my otherwise all-black interior. The pile on them is shorter than the stock black floor mats which makes them easier to vacuum.

The cargo tote is kind of neat. Basically its a little collapsible carrying thingy that has dividers that can be flipped up in a variety of ways to make various sized compartments. When not in use it can be folded flat, buckled closed, and left in the back of the car. The outside of the tote is made from the same grey carpet stuff that the floor mats are made of. When the tote is folded flat it displays the same embroidered Chrysler logo as the floor mats. The bottom of the tote is made out of some kind of anti-skid foam, which seems to work pretty well because it kept my laptop computer bag from sliding around while I was doing the twisties on Skyline Drive yesterday.

Each of these items was about $80 ordered through the dealer.

The Floor mats are P/N 82208249 and the cargo organizer is P/N 82208669. Picture uploading seems to be broken at the moment so click on the links and they will take you to the pictures I have uploaded in my gallery.

I find it funny, I'm laughing at myself for my pseudo insanity but I'm in the process of taking everything out of the car, gutting it, so to speak and you wonderful fellow forum members are doing the proper thing, by accessorizing the car... Geeze I hope you don't hate me for turning this little Crossfire into a tin-can racer with a roll cage and a fire bottle... VROOM !!!

My cargo tote is going to be a Sprinter with an aluminum trailer...

HDDP, Your about the only one trying to get this car running at the top of the pack. I find your adventures/advice priceless and always a good read. That's why I think this forum is so cool. It swings from right to left. I really liked the SRT Brake upgrade.

Derek, you could actually use one too. You could put it on the passenger side floor and use it to hold a latte (or perhaps another kind of brewed beverage) and a snack to munch on when you're going down the straights.
