EDIT Oops, just read the bit about the spongy brakes!

Its so frustrating when you have a quicker car through the twisty bits. You get held up trailing the slower car through the bend, which compromises your exit speed, then they disappear down the straight and you're screwed for the whole length of the straight with it all to do again. I even used to get this in the PT. I would move over on the straight to let an obviously faster car through only to baulked as they dawdled through the chicanes.

Simon.
The pedal did get a bit spongier after the first 30 minute event. I'll try to figure out if it is a bleeding issue or, as Gary Johnson recommended, upgrading to the SRT6 master cylinder to keep a larger amount of fluid in the system... But, they worked famously, I would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their brakes.

I always have the same issue of higher HP cars passing on the straights and then me having to re-pass in the corners... It's just part of the game...

I'll keep you posted with the results, I'm still testing and don't want to steer anyone down the wrong path until I install both different sets and figure out which is better and more cost effective...

Great Job. Maybe this twin turbo setup will materialize and you can have over 400 hp to run with the big dawgs in the straights. Or maybe DC will sit up and finally take notice of what they could have had if they had created an aftermarket for the crossfire.
So what was the total cost for the brake setup? Seems easy enough for anyone to do as long as DC supplies the right parts.

I think I posted all the correct part #'s and prices in a different post entitled "SRT6 Brake Upgrades"... I have been working with Lenny at http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com.

He has everything squared away now for the correct part #'s and the sort, so you won't have to go through the headache I did...

i can't believe chrysler doesn't paint the entire underside of the hood... even if the sound deadening normally covers it.

I was surprised as well, maybe they saved $12 in paint... It all adds up in the long run... Don't worry Andrew, It's going to be a completely different car when you see it at the end of the summer. You'll hate it... LOL
