Unhappy Regular unleaded Gas

I just stopped to get gas and this idiot filled my tank wit regular unleaded. Is this going to do any harm? Any additives I should add to the tank at this point?

No, you’re good to go! If you decide to add an additive use something like techron stay away from alcohol/methanol products.

You should be ok. Just don't do any full-throttle launches or lug the engine too much. The PCM will do a good job of controlling knock if you take it easy.

Don't panic. As TYEGUY07 said. Just stay away from the Alcohol / Methanol. You just saved a couple bucks on the fill up. Relax and buy a Latte'.

Unless you were planning on hitting the track later, it will not affect or damage anything.
as some have argued the merits of today’s unleaded -

If I were you, I would refill with the good stuff when the tank gets to half empty (or half full depending on your state of mind).

It won't hurt your car... If you are really worried about it, go to your local paint store and buy a gallon of 100% pure Toluene and pour it into the tank... it is a hydrocarbon normally used in gasoline to increase octane levels. It has an octane level of 115 and will raise your pump gas octane level proportionately.

Be careful not to spill any on your paint...

Yeah, do what HDDP suggested. Pour a gallon of Toluene in your tank. Forget the Latte'...That was a bad idea. See you at Sherwin-Williams.

i usually pump my own gas... but on monday for the 1st time i was on the cell and let the kid do it. when i saw the price was a few dollars cheaper than usual i wondered why and noticed he put in 87 by default...

all monday night i ran that car like a bat outta hel... until it ran down to 2/3... and like one of you said i filled up with CAM II 100 octane.

end result... everything is still running in tip-top shape...

HDDP's suggestion of that toluene sounds sick... 115 oct whoa...
