Wayne, after reading FirebaseD's response to Xfire1's post in the "Crossfire Too Cheap" thread, it occurred to me:
That when it comes to FirebaseD's posts in general, one never knows what to expect. They can be provocative, always full of enthusiasm, quite often thought provoking, usually never anticipated, and for the most part, always interesting, and sometimes down right disturbing. One thing for sure, they stand out.
Firebase can at times be a Poet Laureate, and he comes across as a true modern day Renaissance man, who can go toe to toe with just about anybody, and never hesitate to jump into the mud and get his hands dirty.
He can come off sounding rude and crude one minute, and suddenly display incredible sensitivity the next.
That's why I jokingly referred to him as the Crossfire forums resident "Shock Jock".
Firebase is just one of many interesting people on this web site that I look forward to hearing from on a daily basis. I hope he never sells his Crossfire, and never leaves this web site.
He's someone I'd like to meet, hopefully someone I could call a friend, and without a doubt, someone I could depend on, "to watch my back".
Mike

No, I came to that conclusion after reading most all of FirebaseD's 225 previous posts to this web site.

OK to keep us all happy I changed it from "Roadster" to "Sports Car"... hooah.

Where is North American automobile production? In two words Canada and low wage regions to the south of the US, Mexico.

So you still claim the Crossfire is not an American Automobile?

No one is going to burst my bubble!!! NO WAY!!! hehehehe... LOL

The XFIRE is an american car... for the last 10 years we've been buying only american made cars... it doesn't matter to me that its 80% this 20% that... LOL how i rationalize it is this way...

if a pregnant american woman gives birth in germany, while on vacation... the child is by default AMERICAN... however... being born on german soil the child does have a right with the german gvt to attain german... citizenship as well.

or if someone... an AMERICAN crossed the oceans into europe... needed a kidney transplant, blood transfusion...etc. and a German donor gave their blessings to give up a kidney and the american has it done in germany... this AMERICAN IS still 100% AMERICAN...after the surgery... no footnotes added stating...*except for kidney!!!

LOL... i love my Chrysler conceived CROSSFIRE... and the last time i looked Chrysler is an american company... LOL

Thank you Brother!!! HOOAH

Take all the Chrysler tagging you can find on the Crossfire off, and guess what folks you still got a Chrysler.

This is an American Sports Car, anyone who disagrees with me please explain why you feel the "Crossfire is a Germany Sports Car" and not "An American Sports Car," and please do not bore me with a parts list.

Don't force me to research the Ford Mustang, Harley Division, etc... lol

One thing Sir Shock Jock, that Z-car poster should have a flat tire on it with 50-caliber entry holes strewn across the driver side... hehehe

on a serious point....hahaha there are 2 z car owners in my area... one is a guy older than me... the other is a little younger... but both look at the XF like it is the car they should have bought!!!

the younger one once... asked me if id be interested in racing him...

i replied ...yes But this XF won't race for less than $5,000... he stopped asking...

i guess he thought i was serious... maybe i thought i was serious.... but i was bluffing as i know he moded-out his engine...hehehe

the perks of aging... more WIT!

The crossfire is definitely an American Sports car - this is obvious due to the fact that the cabin can accommodate people who are more that 200 lbs.

So what's American? I looked at my family tree and every branch ends in Germany - but I'm an American. So the Crossfire just started there, but ended up here - just like my family. Ergo, its an American car in the American tradition. Born somewhere else but a native here.

It's a global economy guys, outsourced, insourced, backsourced, packaged, shipped, delivered and bought. George Bush just traded our nuclear energy technology to India for KIWI fruit... My IRS taxes are processed in another country by people who barely speak english... Don't get me started, I'm 13th generation in the USA.
