Default SLK trim parts for the Crossfire

My mom recently got a SLK for a loaner car and as I was comparing it to my Crossfire I noticed chrome trim that I wanted in the Crossfire. I know one of the parts will fit, the chrome door trim, but I'm not sure about the gauges. And if the gauges do fit I believe the red interior on the SLK is much deeper than the Crossfire. Any thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks JASON.

OK, I went to my local MB dealer and bought two Chrome door trim pieces for a total with tax of about $160.00. They'll be in on friday, i'll see if I can post pics once there installed.

Still can't upload pics!?

Ok just attempted to put the chrome door trim/lock cover(s) on and THEY DON'T FIT. Well they do but they're to small, the SLKs door are thinner than the crossfires. There is a 3/4 inch gap between the chrome and the edge of the door. All the bolt holes line up and everything else is great except for the gap. So i'll be returning them on monday.

Still would like some input on the gauges... thanks.

Did you get the SLK parts for a new model car or the same model as the XFire? That would surely make a difference.

The trim parts were for a 2004 SLK 320 which is the last year of the R170 model, our model. I'll get pictures of the parts tomorrow.

The chrome door caps (lock covers) don’t fit our Crossfire’s, and I haven’t gotten around to trying the rings when I went to see how much they would cost it was insane +$300 can’t remember exactly right now, but it was not worth my time and money to find out if they fit or not.

According to Mercedes that’s what they call it, it provides easier access to the exterior door handle and locking mechanism.
