Woodward Dream Cruise - August 18th, 2007 - Motown
Actually...high honors go to RPM...he set this whole thing up! Many thanks!
Oh yea...that 1 1/2 hours to cruise and go to the church...that's about how long it'll take to go south on woodward from the hotel to the church! LOL.
Looking forward to seeing you all!

I also want to extend my thanks to all who coordinated this event. It sounds like a perfect plan I am looking forward to meeting all of you and spending time together. I will be arriving on Friday at the hotel along with FP.
Peggy and I will be arriving Friday also, sounds like a great plan. Thanks for all the hard work, not an easy task I'm sure. Looking forward to seeing everyone and finally experiencing Woodward.
Thank you to RPM and all of you who have worked so hard to set up the Woodward. Sounds like it will be fun. See all of you at the Marriott Friday night.

FYI.
When sending your check or money order to the contact for parking (per PM) - you may want to write in the memo field something like: Crossfire Woodward Parking, etc.
Or you could drop in a note saying that you are going to be part of the Chrysler Crossfire International club.

Looks like it's going to be a Blast... Many Thanks to RPM and everyone that worked on coordinating this event. Looking forward to meeting everyone Saturday.
Sounds great, RPM good job and ditto to all the other locals. If we go to the Church on saturday does that get me out of going to Sunday services? Other than lawn chairs any other suggestion on what to bring?
Some portable tent tops if allowed would be nice to shade some areas for people to hang out in case the weather is hot and sunny or heaven forbid it rains.
I don't have one but if any others do and can fit them in their Crossfire they might come in handy.

A little bit about the "goings-on" in the area.
Yes bring fold up chairs. The tent is a good idea, ask the Church if they would have room or feel there is room on their lot. We could set one up on the edge of Woodward, but it's "first come/first serve" for the space. People are usually very good about not getting into someone else's space. The west side of the church lot has shade from mid afternoon on, but otherwise it's sunny. Cold drinks are good to have as the stores are busy busy busy. Bring a camera if that's your thing, sun screen, hat, shades and comfortable shoes too. Some bottled water/cloth to wash off any dirt spots on your car (bird poo) if you'd want. If someone’s car got bad they could come to give it a bath at our home. Guess that's it see everyone soon-Ann.

Good links Rapp's and apkano.
BTW, that reminds me - everyone bring a camera.
And don't forget to mail your $10 for parking ASAP.

I am "officially" in and mailed my $10 earlier this week (to the church-lady - Sat night live...haha). I will not be at the Hotel or in the area Friday night - might be in Northville (Detroit suburb) at relatives, but regardless will be at the Courtyard for meet & greet and breakfast Saturday morning. See you guys then.

Pay special note to the pic "image id 2299"...that's 6 ssr's. Now imagine 20+ Crossfires all lined up in a row!
