Hey Everyone,

Planning on attending...any other xfire owners from IL. beside FP ?...I'm thinking about heading out there Friday night and coming back to Chicago on Sunday...Will be real cool to have a good turn out of xfire there and make some new friends. Also are all the rooms booked at the designated hotel ?

If so, I will fill out and submit the form so we can apply for the free 'Cruise and Stay Package' (must have at least 10 people though).
I will put on the form that we are part of the 'Chrysler Crossfire International Club,' so if you make reservations - let them know.

- I plan on getting up early on Saturday and staying Saturday night. I may go ahead and make a reservation for Friday night though (just in case).
Hi RPM, I've been out traveling and just got back. Thanks for putting this together. I'm planning on going out Friday and returning Saturday night. I'm stopping by CrossfireFrank on the way there. I'll stay at whatever hotel you come up with. Raulito, maybe we can follow another there Friday night. If anyone else from Illinois wants to joins us, it would be great.

RPM:
I wasn't planning on staying at a Hotel but will consider it if you come up short by one. So if needed I'll stay at the Courtyard Friday night.

Guys,

Here is the latest and greatest on the Motown event:
I submitted the ‘Cruise and Stay Package’ form to the Courtyard at Auburn Hills.
As long as we have 10 rooms booked on Friday night and/or Saturday night – we will be good to go.

It is set up under the name – ‘Chrysler Crossfire International Club.’
So for those that are going to stay, make your reservation(s) under this. I blocked 11 rooms (all w/king size beds and a pull out sofa bed). Our rate will be $94.00/night. If you want 2 Queens, it will be $104.00/night. If you want/need something additional of different – just let them know. If we end up needing more rooms, it shouldn’t be an issue (as long as they are not booked up for the Cruise weekend).

The included perks of the ‘Cruise and Stay’ are:
Welcome packets.
Separate parking for our Crossfires.
Hoses, buckets, water – for washing cars.
And a ‘cookie’ reception w/goodies (if we want it).
Etc.

By the end of the week, I should have an email from the Courtyard with a number to call to book under the ‘club,’ and an Internet link to book also. Once I get it, I will post it on here.

The 11 rooms will be held until July 27th. Any rooms that aren’t taken by then will be let go (and if we drop under 10, we lose the benefits. Although I think the best benefit would be the separate parking - which will look like a car show itself).

I'll keep you posted. I see we're up to 13 Xfires so far. Looks like we need a red and a yellow to join us.

You are doing a great job RPM...keep up the good work!! Am still not sure if we are going to stay Friday night or not but as you noted we still have sometime left to decide. That separate parking is a nice touch I must admit.

Sounds sad I know, but I've never been to a woodward dream cruise. I live in Roseville (Around 35 mins south of Detroit) and I MIGHT go if you guys would like! Just to stop by and drive around for a little bit.

Being 17, I would have to check with my parents. :'(

How sad is that.

That's not sad at all. You are VERY young to have such a nice car.
Hell, I'm 29 (as of yesterday) and I had to ask my wife if I could go.

You are welcome to come. Maybe one of your parents would like to come too.
The more Crossfires the better.

As of now I'm tentative... I'm still trying to make arrangements... Wife and work.

If I go, I'll have to commit to seeing some old Chrysler buddies, they would get seriously ticked off if I was in town and did not visit for a little while at least!

My brother and I plan on filming again. This time we have a much better video camera and that should get rid of all the shaking that was in the first film. We both hope to get a lot more footage and be able to produce a longer and better film.

nox1s try to convince your parents to let you go. I was only 19 when I went on the June 4th cruise. Everyone accepted me and it was such a blast!!! I am looking forward to meeting everyone and hope everyone can attend.
