First thing I want to say is Thank you to all that made the trip down to the dragon so special for me. first there is Bill (silver fox) thank you for putting the whole thing on great Job! second (Crossfire Frank) for inviting me to come alone when my friend bailed on me. to Ann, Gary*( Rapp)and Gary ( Valkaryderguy )for making me feel so welcome. a special thank you to* Matt( Irwin )who made it possible for me to make the loop and to get home safely. you rock ! and to all of you who where concerned when it was found I had hit a pot hole and put a bubble in my tire on the way to the Dragon*almost ending the trip before it began. *you all made me feel* part of the crossfire family.*Irwin brought a*tire with him*he changed it* for me right at the dam* so I could be part of the festivity's**once again you rock ! While on my way to the Dragon, I was thinking to myself that the pictures of the car were going to suck because of the rain. Imagine my suprise when I saw them posted ! those pics in the rain are incredible!!!!
The headlights being on, piercing through the fog really gives one the sense of motion. fantastic job US129!

 

A Crossfire can look good in any shot. (except wrecked)
It just simply is a cool car.
I still take pics of my car and although they all start to look similar I just keep trying to get that awesome shot.
My gallery is loaded with them beginning with the first day I had it to the most recent last week.
I agree those US129 pics are cool too.

 

Hello All!,

I am new to this Forum. I am located about 15 minutes from the Tail of the Dragon in Vonore, TN. I would love to get in on a meet. However with my overseas duties with the Army, It will be difficult for me to be able to. I was wondering when the next meet is scheduled for the "Tail of the Dragon" meet. I'm hoping it will fall somewhere between Oct 20-Nov 19, 2008. That is when I will be home from my overseas tour, then its off to Germany for me and my XF. Any info you can pass my way will be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm jealous, AChinn. It takes me over an hour and a half to play on the Dragon.

Perhaps some of us who are near the TofD can arrange some small group day or weekend trips.
