I am located in Crawfordsville kinda near the Indy area. I'd like to meet up with some of you guys if I get to go this year cuz I'd be totally lost.

We will hook up with you on the way down on Thursday morning near Indy !!............
Split the drive ....part of the trip down on Thursday and the rest of the way Friday
I'm staying Thursday night (Oct 29) at the Red Roof Inn - Florence, Kentucky. (I'm already booked) Several other did this last spring and it worked well.
I encourage anyone who wants to kick off the weekend to arrive when you can and come join me and others for the pre Dragon party Thursday night.
There is O'Charleys a good restaurant walking distance next door for happy hour and /or dinner.
Then on Friday morning we all leave for the 5 hour run to the Fontana Lodge with our first trip through the Dragon in route just before we arrive.
Anyone can come and join us for the pre party again this fall......

I am thru Crawfordsville all the time...usually stop out at 231/74 McDonalds for lunch...we will hook up and get you down to the Dragon with no problems...need to hook up before dragon, with some of the other IN XF's.....

Not sure how my work schedule falls or what vacation I'll have left at that time, but I reall wanna go. That's a great idea tho. I'd rather not try to find my way there on my own and miss out. BTW is there a time frame on the booking of rooms at the lodge for the three day stay?
