Oh ya did I mention my encounter with the law in Algonquin on the way home ?? 2 officers in one squad car.
So I'm driving south on Rte 25 on my way home from Volo.
Just cruisn along doing 60 in a 45 enjoying the wind and the afternoon sunshine.
I notice a marked squad car coming in the oncoming direction but no radar went off in my car and they didn't seem to have any interest in me as they didn't make a quick turn around so I figure cool no problem.
A minute later they are right behind me with the lights flashing etc.
I pull to the side and go through the usual routine.
They ask me why I'm going 60 in a 45 and also why I didn't use my turn signal when I changed lanes prior to stopping on the right side of the road.
My reply "sorry officer I wasn't paying attention to my speed and as for the signal, well while being pulled over it didn't occur to me to use it".
Then of course I produced my license, registration and insurance card.
So while they are running a check on my record they suddenly get an emergency call of some sort and the one officer runs back to my window and tells me OK Gary slow it down we gotta go and literally tosses my ID etc into my window and runs back to his car and hits his siren and pulls out from behind me lights and siren going and hauls a$$ up the road and made a left turn and disappeared.
So I lucked out and wasn't sighted for any violation.

Can you pick me up 5dollars worth of lotto tickets... I figured I'd better capitalized on no citation for 15mph over...hahahahaha.
