I'm mostly packed. I just finished cleaning the car and I'll head out around 9 AM tomorrow morning Central time of course.

Hate to do it but we're out for this meet.
The road closure really puts a damper on us making it this time. We can usually make it to the dam in right at an hour but the detour we'd have to take, I fear, would add more time and mileage than we could feasibly do for a day trip.

Well Packing things up ! Trying to down size so we can put the top down on the way there . not easy thing to do win your going to be gone for a week and half ! keep everything Crossed and maybe with some luck we can make into fontana village tonight , Everybody stay safe , see at the Dragon Ray!

Currently sitting in a McDonalds in Sweetwater TN. Eating a bite of lunch before continuing on my journey. So far so good, I never realized Tennessee was this beautiful.

Heading down early Saturday morning so I can be at the dam when everyone arrives spend the day and then off to Nashville Sunday to pick up my new front SRT bumper cover , then back home Man thats a lot of traveling in a circle

Illinois/Ohio group arrived at 7pm tonight.

Joyce, you and Rick have a safe trip in.....the weather is absolutely the best we've had.....SO FAR!!! The drive up with Kim and John were was a blast and we had a good run up to the lodge.

Went to Robbinsville this morning and got the rest of the stuff for our CICCI Sponsered BBQ tomorrow night.
Heading out for a drive to Franklin to explore some new mountain roads.

We went out and explored new roads today over to Franklin.
Found another great twisty through the tall pine trees in a dense forest like area.
Hwy 1310 out of Franklin...look it up !!! Awesome road
I'll run the Dragon tomorrow afternoon after the trip out on the Cherohala Skyway and back to Deals gap.
Those who ran it so far said they had the road to themselves and hauled A$$ through the twisties.
Without it being open as a through way access to anywhere it seems to have less people on it.
The weather is perfect.
The party was out on the patio off the lobby all evening and the Wildwood grill is now open and newly remodeled with a HUGE front deck and tables with super comfortable chairs....and the serve alcohol.
Well more to come tomorrow night and maybe some pics as well

This will be presented to me at the Photo shoot tomorrow morning for the group to see.
Hopefully a few others will order one of there own.
