To all my friends in and around Michigan....
I will be traveling from Chi-town to Jackson, Michigan where I will be staying at Crossfirefranks house Friday and Saturday night.
I'm coming in my Crossfire and hope to see several of you there for a Saturday run on some of those beautiful two lane roads.
Just a simple day run with a stop for lunch or dinner along the way.
I'm sure many of you know some nice routes so I am looking for some of you to show me some of them.

Lets hope we have good weather while I'm in town.

I'm thinking if the group would like to have the GTG at my house I could make steaks / chicken on the grill for dinner. I'm sure I can recruit Lisa to help with the cooking.

 

Gary- Talked to Ann and Gary (Rapps) and they will be attending with the crossfire and viper.

 

We have a graduation in Ypsi that Sat a.m., but will hook up with you guys somewhere mid-day. Frank - Thanks for offering your house.

Gary- thats what I was going to suggest was maybe meeting up with everyone at an agreed location and go driving and ending back at my place for the GTG, Maybe Ann or Judy would have suggestions on cruising.

I am working on putting a route together for saturday but it will include some traveling and not sure if we will be back by 5pm ish...can't you call in sick....

 

Judy- I'd really like to be back by at least 500. I'll need to get back to start dinner and plan on going with you. What time are you planning on leaving?

 

My plan was to go to Auburn, Ind...it is only bout a 2 hr drive from Jackson and there is a lot there to see...they have the Cord Car Museum and a WWII museum....I don't know what time everyone can get to Jackson...I can be there by 9am but I am not coming as far as some of the others and they are not talking so maybe you can check with them and see what time they can meet up with us. don't see why we couldn't be back by 5pm if that is the plan...what are your thoughts?

 

Another option would be to meet in Ann Arbor and drive around here, go to Hell and Zukey Lake, over to Webberville to the Michigan Brewery and get some of the best Root Beer in town, and the beer is not bad either...."Bad ***" is really good...might run into Kid Rock while there!! Could run up to 127 and on to Franks for dinner...still thinking....

 

Judi - This plan would work better for us. We're at a graduation ceremony at EMU from 10 to 12 Saturday, so we could probably meet you guys for lunch if you're running around A2 or Jackson area.
Frank - Let us know what you want us to bring.

 

Judy- I think the second option would work better also. I may head back early to get dinner started.

 

i will be happy to bring something ...let me know what you would like me to bring...

 

We can hang around the Jackson area and do some driving as well.
Whatever works best so that everyone can hook up for lunch and/or dinner.
