Just the opposite. I am working more than ever. Had 1 get suspended so having to hang on at the sheriff gig a little longer. Trucking is 60+hrs a week as well. I am going to come with the hopes Rudy will have some time to do the paddle shifter install on the roadster. I will look into where to stay according to where Rudy is located. So you shamed me into it...

For hotels, there are a few right off of I-55 at Route 30 too. A good spot for anyone doing this.
The one already mentioned in Romeoville is a good choice.

Just *don't* stay closer to the track, at the hotels off I-80 on Larkin in Joliet!

I live right by all that, and pass through Romeoville on 55 ever day, if anyone wants me to check anything out for them.

If I had a guest room or something, I'd offer to let some people crash here.
