WHAT IS THE LX & BEYOND NATIONALS?

Founded in 2008, and based in Ohio, the LX & Beyond Nationals is the ONLY drag racing, car show and entertainment event in the United States completely dedicated to the Modern MOPAR Muscle and Performance vehicles. A grassroots event that began in Spring '07, as a meet-and-greet in a restaurant parking lot in Columbus, OH.

This annual event hosts hundreds of die-hard enthusiasts and aftermarket manufacturers from California to New York, from Canada and everywhere else in-between. Enthusiasts interested in showing off their cars, testing its performance limits on the 1320 and learning what is new and available in the aftermarket attend this event every year. The event is open to the public and dedicated to the continued growth of the car hobby. If you own an LX/LC/LD-platform or any SRT performance vehicle (or in the market to purchase one) this is an event you want to attend and see what the cars and the culture associated with owning one is all about.

For those of you not familiar with the Modern Street HEMI Shootout Classes, we have a heads up class that fits everyone from Stock all the way up to INSANE!!!!!!! We also run an Index class which is very similar to bracket racing but run in nonadjustable .25 increments.

We have also added a non-points bracket class (Mopar Heritage & Beyond Bracket Racing) that will include the cars not covered under the MSHS rules. Please check out the classes and rules here and if you have any questions feel free to post up in here.
http://hemirace.com/pdfs/2013_Modern...cial_Rules.pdf

Your entry fee will allow you to run any single heads up class in addition to Index or Bracket. 2 racing classes for your single entry fee, lots of racing action to be had at Thompson Raceway Park which is known for its stellar traction.

The classes are presented by the following sponsors:

Title Sponsors: ShopHemi.com & Paramount Performance Products

PRO: Stage 6 Motorsports

Stroker: Thitek

I reside in Ohio and I own SRT6. However, I will not drag race my car. The only races I go to are those I work or compete. I never pay to watch. So I dream of the Nuremberg.........gary....

Missing out... (1) sharing a rare ride with fellow Moparians, (2) meeting other Moparians outside of Cincinnati. There are multiple Mopar Clubs in Ohio and many will be in attendance. Something to think about....

Its not all drag racing... car show and meet & greet as well....

Well, damn. I am going to Carlisle PA with both my cars this weekend. I will have to see how my week goes. I guess if I can get a hotel room at the last minute, I would love to attend. Just won't know until a few days before. I would bring at least the coupe to play. We shall see...

Would love to see ya there! The Crossfire is under-represented in general at Modern Mopar events.

Especially ones that are willing to hit the drag strip.
