Coney Island Amusement east of downtown Cincinnati is having their annual Cruise-A-Paloza August 30, 2014. Here are some links with pics and information. Coney is a beautiful place for a car show, lots of shade and located on the banks of the Ohio it offer plenty of things to do. Admission to the park is separate but, there are rides, putt putt golf and a huge swimming pool to pass the time.

Are you going as a spectator or participant?

 

I am going as a participant. I am planning on asking the two guys who went to the Rising Sun Show with me and I was hoping to get a few more from the forum and make a GTG out of it.

 

When time gets closer I will let you know.

Weather permitting, I plan to be there. I read that there is a $15 registration fee. Do we meet at the show or somewhere on the way?

 

Weather.... Weather Channel says 10%, Accweather says 60%, locals say 30% chance Saturday so who knows. Right now it looks like just the two of us, still waiting to hear from one of the guys who went to Rising Sun back in July. My brother is thinking of taking one of his cars but neither of them are Crossfires.

 

Really hot and humid today, but missed the rain. Met up with Ken and Tim today. Also spoke to a few others that own Crossfires and gave them the .ORG address.

 

It was great to finally meet some forum members (Tammi, James and Tim) in a GTG setting. Tim could not stay for the entire show but I did get a few shots of all three cars. James is right, it was quite hot and humid but it was fairly cloudy at time or it would have been worse. Thinking of at least one more Ohio Valley GTG this season but more of a driving event sometime after the Dragon. Here's a few pics from today.
