I plan to be there again this year. I'm not staying at the Marriott, but is there a way for me to join the procession from the hotel to Memorial Park Saturday morning? If so, what time should I meet you at the hotel?

We all need to proceed together into the park in order to park together
The park opens a 7am on Saturday and the earlier we arrive the closer to Woodward we will be parked
I have not set a departure time from the hotel yet but I suspect it will be earlier than the past years
Keep and eye on the thread as time gets closer and I'm sure the info will be posted before the event

 

I'm providing a BBQ Friday night at my home before Woodward
Please let me or Gary know if you are joining us so I can make enough food

Her house is in Macomb, Michigan about 21 miles/25 minutes from the Marriott Host hotel in Auburn Hills, MI.

Anyone interested in a Sunday/Monday post-Woodward cruise from Detroit along Lake Erie to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland?
Tentative plan is to leave the hotel Sunday for Port Clinton, Ohio where we would take the ferry to Put-in-Bay island for lunch. After lunch, a leisurely drive on US 6 & 2 along the water to downtown Cleveland. Dinner there (probably at one of the spots on 4th street).

Depart after lunch.

Right now we have two cars interested and all are welcome.

Jim the post Woodward trip sounds great and Mickie and myself would be interested but I would have to see if I could get the following Monday off. I've taken extra time off this year already but I'll work on it and see what happens. Sounds like a good time a and I've always wanted to do the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

 

Pat - Make it happen! Give me your boss's number, and I'll give him/her a call. I'm really good at begging for time off.....

I might also be able to make the post Woodward event although I would most likely not go to the Hall of Fame but instead leave Monday after breakfast and head back home.
The best part for me of the post Woodward event you have planned is the driving part and the meals and being with those of you who participate

Is there a particular inexpensive hotel chosen to stay at in Cleveland yet Sunday night ?

Gary - Glad you're considering attending the post cruise. Haven't picked a hotel yet, but will PM a proposed route and hotel to all attendees within the next few days. Plan is for a laid-back, relaxed drive.

My sister will be joining us in her Prowler. I have already booked our hotel room. We're in for the BBQ. Though interested in the Post Woodward trip, I'm not sure at this time as we had originally planned on going to Saugatuck early Sunday morning. Plans are not etched in stone, so this could change... I'll let you know Jim as we get a little closer... Can't wait to see my old friends and meet new ones....

I am a "wanta be" owner (previously a Viper owner) - I am looking forward to looking at the cars and talking about them with their proud owners. Of course - if any of them has a for sale sign on a SRT 6 Roadster I can going to try and write them a check - on the spot. Regardless I look forward to seeing a bunch of these beauties together.
