Well, just figured out I really will be in on the Dream Cruise gathering this year. Got to see if Rapps get their ZH out, or are just hung up with those SR cars. Also, would not miss out on a BBQ at Lisa's!

Since I missed the deadline for normal Royal Oak park arrangements, was glad to connect with Southernscrew to get his passes. Hope your operation goes fine, and look for you next time!

So please add me to appropriate lists for BBQ and park gathering. Will PM Lisa re what to bring.

Am I missing anything else?

P.S. - Harbor - note that Southernscrew will NOT be joining the after Cruise cruise? He was looking forward, hasn't been before, just won't be able this year.

Just got back from a post-MI Mille/ Pre-WWDC party. Ken Lingenfelter joined our group for a while to observe the cruising at 14/WW.

Dream Cruise 1st timers - Get ready for a lot of this...

 

Hope to see everyone on Saturday...I'll try to stop by Memorial Park in the AM before lunch. Starting in the afternoon we're celebrating my daughter's 1st birthday with family and friends, followed by cruising in the evening!

Lookin forward to going to the track in Sept. That should be fun to. And so it happens the car is at the Mercedes dealer getting a new supercharger put on under the warranty that came with the car. Ha.

Excellent choice. That Hotel will put you "right in the middle of it all" so to speak", with in walking distance to the Rock & Roll Hall of fame, lot's of restaurants, the House of Blues, The 9, the Horse Shoe Casino, and parking right next door.

 

So let me see if I understand this correctly….. Anyone attending the WWDC this weekend will have the opportunity to:

#1) Meet Eric Stoddard, the orig designer of the Crossfire, and have him autograph their car, owner’s manual, pics, etc…
#2) Meet Rob & Liz of NeedsWings, the Holy Grail of Crossfire performance parts,
#3) Attend a Friday night BBQ (Thanks Lisa!)
#4) Meet and trade quips with Pat Fink*, the 2015 Stoddard Award Recipient. Also meet Pat’s wife, a recently retired European super model,
#5) Hang with a group of like-minded Xfire fanatics, including Valk, former President and ongoing celebrity of the Crossfire Club,
#6) Partake in an afterglow Cruise to Put-in-Bay island and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

All this on top of the regularly scheduled Dream Cruise events. Not too shabby of a weekend in the Motor City…..

*Note: Pat will be available for autographs and photo opps Friday evening and all day Saturday.

A good weekend ahead and a clear weather forecast for Saturday thru Monday

 

Jim you forgot to add $5.00 a pop for photos with me plus $1.00 if its autographed plus most will want to talk to me just to meet my wife.

 

Where might there be a good time to meet up on Friday for some cruising before the BBQ?

The hotel?

The park?

And about what time?

 

Klay - In past years, the early arrivals would informally meet at the park around noonish and have lunch, cruise and generally hang out. I can't meet the Friday afternoon bunch this year, but will see everyone at the BBQ Friday night.

On a separate note, I saw a very heavily modded black coupe at the Dodge event yesterday. Belong to anyone here?
