The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day automotive event drawing 40,000 classic cars to this show each year.
For our Crossfire group this will be our 15th year in attendance !!!

We have secured Crossfire Group Parking again this year at the corner of 13 mile rd. and Woodward ave.
The spot is in the beautiful shaded 25 acres of Memorial Park where we will be among 800 other show cars !!
Walk around the park and see all the other show cars and if that isn't enough you can go walk along Woodward ave in both directions and see several thousand more show cars

PARKING INFO
The registration fee is $50 per car and this entitles you to parking in Memorial Park on Friday and Saturday.
This fee also allows you exclusive access to bleachers on the edge of the park by Woodward Ave to sit and enjoy watching all the show cars cruising by all day
After you register, your acceptance letter along with your credentials for the show will be mailed to you shortly after August 1, 2022

PLEASE HAVE YOUR WINDOW STICKER ADHERED TO YOUR WINDSHIELD (lower driver’s side).

Friday you can go in to Memorial Park at anytime without pulling in with the other Crossfires
On Saturday we MUST ENTER TOGETHER to be parked together
We must arrive as a group no later than 8am on Saturday to be parked together
We generally gather at Sonesta (our host hotel) Saturday morning and leave by 7:30 as a group

HOTEL INFO
I have secured a block of 15 rooms again at our usual host hotel location
This location was the Marriott hotel and was purchased by the "Sonesta Hotel" chain
15 rooms are available for Friday 19th and Saturday 20th (8 King and 7 Queen)
Also 5 rooms are available for Thursday 18th for those who arrive early (3 King and 2 Queen)

Guest room, 1 King only $92 + tax
Guest room, 2 Queens only $102 + tax
This is a reduced "group rate" for a weekend with high volume reservations throughout the area

Liz and I are in for dinner Friday and i will swing by the park Saturday ( i do not need a parking spot), we have a friends wedding to attend Saturday night though so we will have to leave mid afternoon.

i will also most likely come by for the traditional thursday night dinner as well and do some cruising then with everyone

To all who will be attending the dream cruise and have paid registration for their sticker and wristband
I made contact with the recreation department in the city of Royal Oak and was told the stickers were just mailed and should be arriving shortly

 

My parking sticker and wristbands arrived today
I know of a few others that also received theirs today
Let me know if you still have not received your parking sticker by August 1rst
