Please come join us for this years annual Fall Crossfire event , this year being held in Helen, Georgia !!
This an extremely popular tourist town, and is a beautiful venue for our event.
As such, rooms are VERY limited.
We will be staying at the Best Western Sure Stay.
We do have a group rate. Cost for Thursday and Sunday nights is $109/night and Friday and Saturday nights are $199/night (plus all usual hotel taxes and fees).
There is a group rate code "CROSSFIRE CAR CLUB".
Please be aware you *must* call in your reservation, not make it online! 706-878-2191 then Option 1.
You have until August 20th to make your reservation, and cancellations after that date will have penalties!

There is a limited amount of rooms available: 40 rooms. That's all there are.
Be courteous to those who are definitely going to go. If you are going to cancel your reservation, please post up here on the Crossfire Forum:.

From the planning team for this years Fall event in Helen, Georgia

Everyone here is the information for the event.
This includes the runs that are planned for the event, schedule, what runs are which days, and bios.
Note that runs are subject to change due to weather.
The pace of certain runs will be quicker than others so please look at the tops of the run sheets for the pace expected that will be placed out at the event in person.
Please review and read bios for the run leaders, runs, and things to do in the area.
We will be printing these out along with run sign up sheets to be populated when people get to Helen.
We look forward to have everyone back together and being with our friends along with better weather than last year.
Check your tires, oil, belts, etc., before your journey into the gorgeous North Ga mountains.
We will have a selection of parts, tools, etc,. for the unforeseen incidents that arise.

Brian and Barbara just made reservations. I got the rooms for 25, 26, and 27. BTW, they only have doubles left. When we *ESCAPED from HURRICANE HELENE, we drove down 23 and 17 not too far from Helen.
We should do a parade though Helen as it's a very nice and quaint town. We also could meet up at the town hall parking lot as it's plenty big.
